| 金子兜太(かねこ とうた) 1919年(大正8年)埼玉県比企郡小川町生まれ。18歳の時、初めて句作。俳誌『寒雷』『風』に参加、前衛俳句の旗手として頭角をあらわし、1956年現代俳句協会賞を受賞、伝統にとらわれない独特の作風を不動にした。1962年『海程』を創刊、1985年より主宰。『寒雷』同人。1987年から朝日俳壇選者を務める。1983年〜2000年現代俳句協会会長を務めた。2005年日本芸術院会員、2008年文化功労者。句集に『少年』『金子兜太句集』『暗緑地誌』『遊牧集』『皆之』『両神』『詩経国風』『東国抄』『日常』ほか多数、評論に『ある庶民考』『種田山頭火』『小林一茶』『一茶句集』など。 Tohta Kaneko Born in 1919 in Ogawa Street, Hiki County, Saitama Prefecture. When he was eighteen years old, he composed his own haiku for the first time. He took part in haiku magazines 'Winter Thunder' and 'Wind', and come to the fore as standard-bearer for avant-garde haiku. In 1956, he won the modern haiku society prize and established his unique style, which is free from traditions. In 1962 he published a magazine 'Distance by Sea' and has edited since 1985 and the staff of the magazine 'Winter Thunder'. He served as a selector of Asahi haiku circles since 1987 and as a committee chair of the modern haiku society from 1983 to 2000. In 2005 he became a member of the Japan Academy of Arts and in 2008 recognized a person who has performed distinguished services in the field of culture. He has authored many haiku collections such as 'Boy', 'Tohta Kaneko's Haiku Collection', 'Bottle Green Topography', 'Nomadic Collection', 'Minano', 'Both Gods', and 'Shin-ching in the National Culture', 'Eastern Provinces Extraction' and 'Daily'. He has also published reviews such as ''A Certain Common Person's Idea', 'Santoka Taneda', 'Issa Kobayashi', 'Issa's haiku collection' and others. |

| 日向寺太郎(ひゅうがじ たろう) 1965年(昭和40年)宮城県仙台市生まれ。日大芸術学部映画学科卒業。卒業後、黒木和雄、松川八洲雄監督に師事する。1998年、『黒木和雄 現代中国アートの旅/前後編』(NHK)を監督。2005年『誰がために』で劇映画監督デビュー。少年犯罪とその遺族を真正面から描き、新人監督ながらも人間の本質に迫り、高い評価を得た。2008年『火垂るの墓』が全国約80館で公開され、2009年5月には台湾の18劇場でも公開された。2009年、俳人金子兜太のドキュメンタリー『生きもの 金子兜太の世界』(紀伊國屋書店)は映文連アワード2010グランプリ、教育映像祭で文部科学大臣賞(最優秀賞)を受賞する。2010年から日大映画学科で非常勤講師を務める。 Taro Hyugaji Born in 1965 in Sendai City, Miyagi Prefecture, Taro Hyugaji graduated from the Department of Cinema in the College of Arts at Nihon University. After graduating university he studied under directors Kazuo Kuroki and Yasuo Matsukawa. In 1998 he directed 'Kazuo Kuroki, Travel to Modern Chinese Arts: the first and the concluding part'. In 2005 he debuted as a screen play director with his first film 'For Whom', in which he depicted juvenile delinquency and family tragedy in a direct approach. Although he was a new director, his approach of human nature was rated highly. In 2008 his film 'Grave of the Fireflies' was released in approximately 80 movie theatres around Japan. In May in 2009 the film was released in 18 movie theatres in Taiwan. In 2009, haiku poet Tohta Kaneko's documentary, 'life- the world of Tohta Kaneko' directed by Taro Hyugaji won many prizes including the Eibunren Award 2010 Grand Prix and the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology first prize. He has been teaching as a part-time lecturer at the Department of Cinema in College of Arts at Nihon University since 2010. |
